No sailing skills required.

You can choose between 1 to 6 day cruises in the wonderful Bay of Islands or an extended sailing holiday of one week or longer to the breathtaking beauties of the Cavalli Islands or Great Barrier Islands. We anchor in secluded bays away from the main tourist routes and explore some of the breathtaking islands and lookouts.
The Bay of Islands is also known for its abundant marine life including bottle nose and common dolphin which often swim along with us in the wake of the boat.
Even though Chelsea Bride has got plenty of room inside and on deck we prefer to limit numbers to 2 -3 guests on overnight and to 6 guests on day charters. This will ensure that we can provide to everyone the service and attention we are known for.

Booking Conditions
A deposit of 25% of total charter cost at time of booking will confirm the reservation. The balance of 75% to be paid 30 days prior to charter. Payments can be made by Credit card. All prices are in NZ Dollars
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of commencement of charter will result in refund of deposit, less NZ$ 250 cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior of commencement of charter will result in a refund of payment less cancellation fee ONLY if a substitute charter can be booked.

Skipper
and owner Edi, origionally from Switzerland is a passionate sailor. Besides living in the Bay of Islands for the last 22 years, he sailed in the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
He not only likes sailing he also enjoys preparing delicious meals and snacks and serves them together with a variety of fine New Zealand and local wines.
Maps
Opua and the Bay of Islands are situated 250Km or 3hrs North of Auckland. Take the northern motorway to the end, thereafter state highway 1 to Kawakawa,go straight ahead on route 11 to Opua.
There are also daily flights from Auckland to Kerikeri airport, 20 minutes North of Opua. From there a airport shuttle bus will bring you to the marina.
Marina Opua
Take route 11 from Kawakawa towards Opua. The Marina is located at the bottom of the hill after the turnoff to Opua, on the right of the cruising club. It was built in the year 2000 with modern facilities incl. laundry. There is plenty of parking space available. If you would like to have a secure park, we can provide that for you too.
There is only a small grocery shop in Opua, 50m from the marina. Bigger shopping areas are in Paihia or Kerikeri, 10 or 20 Min away by car.
